YG Entertainment has shared the BABYMONSTER members’ real-time reactions to their lineup announcement!

One week after the intense plot twist announcement of BABYMONSTER’s final seven-member lineup, the group released a reaction video showing how the trainees heard about their upcoming debut.

The clip begins with all seven members gathered in a theater as they intently watch the clip of Yang Hyun Suk announcing the BABYMONSTER lineup that streamed live on the group’s YouTube channel last week.

With each member announcement, the girls take time to congratulate one another and shed tears of relief. After the first five members are announced, the girls sit in silence as Yang Hyun Suk explains his plans for the presumably eliminated trainees Rora and Asa.

When Yang Hyun Suk finally reveals that BABYMONSTER will actually debut as seven, the members finally let out gasps of relief and start congratulating each other with big hugs. As they gather into a group hug, Pharita happily yells out, “We’re BABYMONSTER now!”

Earlier this week, BABYMONSTER released their pre-debut song “DREAM.” While their debut date has yet to be confirmed, Yang Hyun Suk previously revealed that the group was gearing up to debut in the fall.
