Ma Dong Seok's "The Roundup : No Way Out" Hits U.S. And Canadian Theaters
South Korea’s leading crime action series has arrived in North American theaters again with its third installment “The Roundup : No Way Out”!
Following “The Outlaws” and “The Roundup,” the beast cop Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) is back, joining a new squad to investigate a murder case. Soon after, he finds out this case involves busting a cartel that’s dealing with a synthetic drug. As Detective Ma starts to dig deeper, he uncovers that the guy behind it all—Joo Sung Chul (Lee Joon Hyuk)—doesn’t stop looking for trouble, and the Japanese drug distributors, Ricky (Aoki Munetaka) and his gang, have come to Korea to join the chaos.
Star of the film and the executive producer of the series, Ma Dong Seok confidently says that there’s something for everyone in this new work of his. “This time we incorporated boxing into our action to give it a new twist. The comedy got even better, and the double villain pumps up the thrill to the double.”
Packed with comedy and eye-popping action sequences, “The Roundup : No Way Out” has become the first Korean film of 2023 to surpass five million moviegoers and additionally hit theaters in the United States and Canada on June 2. Check here to find out if the film is available in a theater near you!
