TXT Confirms Plans For July Comeback After Teasing Collab With OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder
Get ready: TXT is gearing up to make their return next month!
On June 8, News1 reported that TXT was preparing to release a digital single in July. Later that morning, BIGHIT MUSIC confirmed, “TXT is currently preparing a new song with the goal of a release in July.”
However, the agency said that the precise details of the group’s comeback have not yet decided, adding, “We will announce information regarding their new album at a later time.”
Earlier this month, Bang Si Hyuk revealed that TXT was working on new music with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, who attended TXT’s stadium concert in LA last month and repeatedly joked on social media about joining the group. In addition to being the frontman of his band OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder has written numerous hits for other famous artists, including Beyoncé’s “Halo,” Adele’s “Rumour Has It,” Taylor Swift’s “I Know Places,” Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love,” and more.
The BIGHIT MUSIC founder shared a brief clip of the TXT members and Ryan Tedder together in the recording studio, writing, “A big one is coming.”
