"Heartbeat" Joins Fierce Ratings Race And Ties With "Delightfully Deceitful"
KBS2’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Heartbeat” is off to a promising start!
“Heartbeat” premiered on June 26 to an average nationwide viewership rating of 4.1 percent according to Nielsen Korea.
“Heartbeat” is a new fantasy romance drama starring 2PM’s Taecyeon as Seon Woo Hyul, who is half-human and half-vampire. Although he desperately wants to become human, he misses his chance because of one fateful day out of 100 years. He eventually winds up moving in together with Joo In Hae (Won Ji An), a cold-blooded woman who lacks humanity despite being fully human.
tvN’s “Delightfully Deceitful” also garnered an average nationwide rating of 4.1 percent, seeing a slight increase from its previous episode’s rating of 3.3 percent.
Finally, ENA’s “Lies Hidden in My Garden” achieved an average nationwide rating of 1.9 percent, also enjoying a boost from its previous episode’s rating of 1.2 percent and seeing a new personal best record.
