Yeon Woo Jin In Talks Along With Kim Ha Neul For New Drama + Jang Seung Jo Reported
Yeon Woo Jin and Jang Seung Jo may be joining Kim Ha Neul in a new drama!
Based on a popular web novel, KBS’s new drama “Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar” (literal title) will follow the story of Seo Jung Won, an investigative reporter who is accused of murder and must search for the truth to get out of her predicament. Kim Ha Neul is in talks to play the leading role of Seo Jung Won.
On July 25, STARNEWS reported that Yeon Woo Jin and Jang Seung Jo will be starring in “Let’s Get Grabbed By The Collar” as leading characters.
In response to the reports, a source from Yeon Woo Jin’s agency JUMP Entertainment remarked, “It is true that Yeon Woo Jin received a request to star in ‘Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar.’ However, it is not confirmed yet, and it is one of the projects he is in talks for.”
According to the reports, Yeon Woo Jin is offered the role of detective Kim Tae Hyun who sets out to find the truth together with Seo Jung Won after she is accused of being a murderer. If he accepts the role, he will portray a completely different character than he did from JTBC’s “Thirty-Nine.”
Jang Seung Jo is reported to play the role of Seol Woo Jae, who is reporter Seo Jung Won’s husband. Through a secret he has hidden from his wife, Seol Woo Jae becomes the center of focus of the case. Jang Seung Jo’s agency has yet to comment regarding his casting, but viewers are hoping to see his transformation following his roles in “Strangers Again,” “The Good Detective,” “Encounter,” “Familiar Wife,” and more.
“Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar” is scheduled to air in the first half of 2024.
