Hello. This is Rain Company.
We would like to inform you about the future activities of Ciipher.
After sufficient discussion, the company decided to honor the opinions of the members and we mutually agreed that members Tan, Tag, Dohwan, and Won will conclude their official activities [as members of Ciipher] as of today.
The remaining three Ciipher members plan to continue their individual activities as well as their group activities after reorganizing the team in the future.
Keita is set to have his first fan meeting in Japan in August, while all three members will continue to meet fans through various projects.
Once again, we would like to inform you that the above decision was made by reflecting on the personal reasons and opinions of the members after a long and sufficient discussion with mutual respect for each other.
We express our sincere gratitude to the fans who have loved Ciipher and we ask for your warm support and love to the members who will begin anew.
We sincerely support the future of the members who will make a fresh start on their own new paths.
Thank you.
Ciipher is a seven-member group consisting of Hyunbin, Tan, Hwi, Keita, Tag, Dohwan, and Won. Keita recently competed on Mnet’s “Boys Planet” where he finished in rank No. 12. Last week, it was confirmed that Keita will be debuting in a seven-member boy group together with six other former “Boys Planet” contestants. Tag was also a “Boys Planet” contestant but left before the show began. Hyunbin appeared on the MBC’s audition show “Fantasy Boys” where he was unfortunately eliminated in the final episode.
Wishing all the best to all the members in their new endeavors!
