Lee Ha Nee Wins At New York Asian Film Festival 2023 + Lee Sun Gyun, Gong Myung, And Jeong Jinwoon Introduce Films

The New York Asian Film Festival (hereafter NYAFF) recently returned for its 22nd edition!

NYAFF 2023 was held from July 14 through 30 at Film at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Several Korean actors including Lee Ha Nee, Lee Sun Gyun, Gong Myung, and Jeong Jinwoon were in attendance during the course of the festival, representing films they starred in and meeting audiences in New York.

Lee Ha Nee was awarded the Best from the East Award, a distinction to honor a singularly outstanding performance in a film, on July 30 for her performance in NYAFF’s Opening Film “Killing Romance”:

Lee Hanee additionally attended a Q&A session along with her “Killing Romance” co-stars Lee Sun Gyun and Gong Myung, and she held another Q&A session for her other film “Phantom,” a spy drama set in 1933 Korea.

On July 15, 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon took to the stage for a Q&A on his basketball film “Rebound” with his co-star Kim Taek and the director Chang Hang Jun.
