“Music Bank” To Not Air Today + KBS To Live Stream Jamboree “K-Pop Super Live” Concert Instead
“Music Bank” will not be airing this week.
On August 11, “Music Bank” announced through their official website, “The Friday, August 11, 2023 broadcast of ‘Music Bank’ is canceled. We ask for your understanding.”
Instead of “Music Bank,” KBS will air the World Scout Jamboree “K-Pop Super Live” closing ceremony at 5:30 p.m. KST. After the ceremony, KBS will continue to live stream the concert at 7 p.m. KST. Both the closing ceremony and the concert will be broadcast simultaneously on the TV channel KBS2 and the “KBS WORLD TV” YouTube channel.
Accordingly, airing time for other KBS regular programs has also been adjusted. In addition to “Music Bank,” the daily drama “The Elegant Empire” will not air today. “Live Info Show” will air at 5:50 p.m. KST instead of its original time slot at 6:40 p.m. KST.
“Fun-staurant,” which usually airs every Friday at 8:30 p.m. KST, will air at 9:10 p.m. KST today while the music talk show “The Seasons: Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park” will air at 10:40 p.m. KST.
