August Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for drama actors!

The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 50 actors who appeared in dramas that aired between July 8 and August 8.

Kim Tae Ri, who recently starred in SBS’s “Revenant,” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,944,097—marking a 56.50 percent increase in her score since July.

High-ranking phrases in Kim Tae Ri’s keyword analysis included “Revenant,” “Kim Eun Hee,” and “Gu San Young,” while her highest-ranking related terms included “engrossing,” “open the door,” and “scary.” The actress’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 86.97 percent positive reactions.

2PM’s Lee Junho came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 4,905,286, marking a 48.15 percent increase in his score since last month.

Ahn Bo Hyun jumped to third place after seeing a whopping 167.05 percent rise in his brand reputation index since July, bringing his total score for the month to 4,854,130.

Meanwhile, Hong Kyung climbed to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,059,287, marking a 40.98 percent increase in his score since last month.

Finally, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,997,829, marking a 21.84 percent rise in her score since July.
