BTS's V Tops Billboard's Hot Trending Songs Chart For 1st Time As Soloist

BTS’s V dominated Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart this week!

On August 15 local time, Billboard announced that V had scored his first No. 1 as a soloist on its latest Hot Trending Songs chart, which ranks songs based on global music-related trends and conversations in real time across Twitter.

For the week ending on August 19, V swept the top two spots with his new pre-release tracks “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days,” which debuted at No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.

Notably, V also entered the chart with an unreleased song, “Slow Dancing”—the title track of his upcoming solo debut album “Layover“—which debuted at No. 7 even before its release.

V previously entered the Hot Trending Songs chart as a soloist for the first time with his “Our Beloved Summer” OST song “Christmas Tree,” which peaked at No. 4.
