Upcoming SBS drama “The Escape of the Seven” has unveiled a teaser!

Starring Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, and Jo Jae Yoon, “The Escape of the Seven” follows the story of seven characters involved in the disappearance of a young girl, who was tangled in a complicated web of lies and ambition. “The Escape of the Seven” is the third joint project by scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min who previously worked together on “The Last Empress” and the hit “The Penthouse” series.

The released teaser starts with a group of people on a beautiful remote island. As they admire the beautiful island, a voice is heard saying, “There’s a scary legend about this island?” Realizing that they’re on a cursed island that they cannot survive on, they become visibly scared and are seen desperately fleeing while being chased by something. Insanity ensues as the group of people fight to be among the last seven survivors.

In another scene, the dialogues, “We killed people,” and, “If we didn’t kill, we were killed,” hint at their brutal game of survival on the island. The seven people who survived by trampling on others are hit with huge backlash at the highest point of their lives. As if to give them a last chance, a voice is heard saying, “Flee! Before your sin is discovered,” making viewers look forward to the bloody retribution they will face.
