"My Dearest" Scores Top 5 On Viki In Over 40 Countries
The Korean historical romance drama “My Dearest” is receiving favorable reviews across the globe!
According to global OTT (over-the-top) platform Rakuten Viki, Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin’s “My Dearest” ranked No. 1 in viewership in the United States during the fifth week of August when the final episode of Part 1 was released. The drama placed No. 2 in regions including Canada, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand.
In addition, “My Dearest” successfully charted in the top five in a total of 42 countries. It ranked No. 3 in Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden, No. 4 in the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and No. 5 in France and Italy, respectively. In the rankings for the top 10, “My Dearest” charted in as many as 68 regions around the world.
Previously, Part 1 of “My Dearest” ended with Lee Jang Hyun (Namgoong Min) and Yoo Gil Chae (Ahn Eun Jin) parting ways due to their harsh fates. The drama will take a short hiatus before it airs Part 2, which is scheduled to kick off in October 2023.
