'The First Responders 2' Ends On All-Time High As 'Arthdal Chronicles 2' Joins Ratings Race

As one drama kicked off its second season last night, another drama’s second season came to an end!

On September 9, SBS’s “The First Responders 2” achieved the highest viewership ratings of the entire season with its finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama’s final episode scored an average nationwide rating of 9.3 percent, marking a new personal record for Season 2.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles 2” got off to a relatively promising start, premiering to higher ratings than its predecessor “The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” (the drama that previously occupied its time slot). The first episode of the fantasy drama’s second season scored an average nationwide rating of 5.0 percent, while “The Uncanny Counter 2” premiered to a nationwide average of 3.9 percent back in July.

JTBC’s “Behind Your Touch” kicked off the second half of its run on an average nationwide rating of 6.6 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all cable channels.

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “The Real Has Come!”—which has just one episode left in its lengthy run—remained the most-watched drama of Saturday ahead of its series finale. The penultimate episode of the romance drama earned an average nationwide rating of 20.9 percent.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of “The First Responders 2”!
