RIIZE Makes History As 1st Group Not From Survival Show To Sell Over 1 Million Copies Of Debut Album In 1st Week

Just one week into their debut, SM Entertainment’s new boy group RIIZE has already made history as a “million seller”!

Last week, RIIZE made their highly-anticipated debut with their first single album “Get A Guitar” and its catchy title track of the same name.

Hanteo Chart has now reported that “Get A Guitar” sold an amazing total of 1,016,849 copies in the first week of its release (September 4 to 10)—making RIIZE the first group not formed on a survival show to surpass 1 million first-week sales with their debut album.

Even including survival show groups, RIIZE is only the second artist in Hanteo history to sell over a million copies of their debut album in the first week of its release (following “Boys Planet” project group ZEROBASEONE, who became the first to achieve the feat earlier this year).
