"Reborn Rich," "Yumi's Cells 2," "Twenty Five, Twenty One," And More Win At Korea Communications Commission Broadcasting Awards
The winners of the Korea Communications Commission Broadcasting Awards have been revealed!
On September 11, the 2023 Korea Communications Commission Broadcasting Awards ceremony took place at the Lotte Hotel Seoul. Having started in 2009, the awards ceremony recognizes outstanding programs that were produced and broadcasted as well as individuals and groups that have contributed to developing broadcasting culture.
Of the 266 projects that were entered, SBS’s documentary “Guardians of Tundra” took the Daesang (Grand Prize).
JTBC’s “Reborn Rich” starring Song Joong Ki, Lee Sung Min, and Shin Hyun Been snagged the Top Excellence award. Having captured the attention of viewers from more than 170 regions, the drama was evaluated to have significantly contributed to the spread of the Hallyu wave.
tvN’s “Twenty Five, Twenty One” starring Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk won the Excellence Award in the division of Hallyu Expansion.
Starring Kim Go Eun and GOT7’s Jinyoung, TVING’s “Yumi’s Cells 2” won the Excellence Award in the OTT (over-the-top), Web, and App Content division.
