Dating Show "I Am Solo" Soars To Its Highest Ratings Yet Of 100+ Episode Run
Dating reality show “I Am Solo” has reached a new peak!
According to Nielsen Korea, the September 13 broadcast of “I Am Solo” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 6.541 percent, which is the total sum of ratings from ENA and SBS Plus. This is a 0.7 percent increase from the previous episode’s rating of 5.859 percent, with the show renewing its personal best score for two weeks in a row.
Hosted by celebrities Defconn, Song Hae Na, and actor Lee Yi Kyung, “I Am Solo” is a dating show in which six single men and women are invited to “Solo World” in hopes of finding love and marriage.
Meanwhile, the premiere episode of ENA’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Kidnapping Day” achieved an average nationwide rating of 1.833 percent.
Based on a novel, “The Kidnapping Day” is a black comedy about the special collaboration between Kim Myung Joon (Yoon Kye Sang), a first-time kidnapper, and the 11-year-old genius Choi Ro Hee (Yoo Na), who is abducted by Kim Myung Joon to raise money for his daughter’s hospital fees. Park Sung Hoon plays Park Sang Yoon, a detective in pursuit of the truth.
Finally, episode 7 of JTBC’s “Destined With You” earned an average nationwide rating of 2.851 percent, enjoying a small boost from its previous episode’s rating of 2.565 percent.
