"The Kidnapping Day" Soars To No. 1 Ratings With New Personal Best
ENA’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Kidnapping Day” has set a new personal best rating!
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 3 “The Kidnapping Day” earned an average nationwide viewership rating of 3.1 percent. This is a 1.6 percent increase from its previous episode’s rating of 1.5 percent, marking the drama’s new personal best score.
Based on a novel of the same name, “The Kidnapping Day” is a black comedy about a special alliance between a blundering kidnapper and a genius 11-year-old girl. Yoon Kye Sang plays Kim Myung Joon, a first-time kidnapper who abducts an 11-year-old girl to raise money for his daughter’s hospital fees. Yoo Na of “Pachinko” plays genius girl Choi Ro Hee, who has a cynical and exceptional mind despite her young age and forms a strange bond with Kim Myung Joon.
Meanwhile, episode 9 of JTBC’s “Destined With You” garnered an average nationwide rating of 2.6 percent, seeing a small dip from its previous episode’s rating and personal best score of 2.9 percent.
