"Dr. Cheon And The Lost Talisman" Surpasses 1 Million Moviegoers After Topping Box Office For 4 Days
The star-studded new film “Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman” is off to a strong start at the box office!
Ever since its release on September 27, the new mystery thriller starring Kang Dong Won, Lee Dong Hwi, Esom, and Heo Joon Ho has enjoyed an uninterrupted four-day streak at No. 1 at the Korean box office.
On the morning of October 1, the Korean Film Council announced that “Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman” had officially reached a total of 1,010,318 moviegoers—meaning that it took less than five days to hit the 1 million mark.
“Dr. Cheon and the Lost Talisman” tells the story of Dr. Cheon (Kang Dong Won), a fake exorcist who doesn’t actually believe in ghosts, in spite of his profession. However, his beliefs are challenged—and childhood traumas resurface—when he is commissioned to work on a powerful case unlike any he has ever experienced.
