BTS's V Spends 3rd Week In Top 50 Of Billboard 200 With "Layover"
BTS’s V is enjoying a strong third week on the Billboard charts with his solo album “Layover”!
Last month, V made his solo debut on the Billboard 200 with his new album “Layover,” which entered the chart at No. 2—and tied the record set by his bandmates Jimin and Suga for the highest ranking ever achieved on the chart by a Korean solo album.
On October 3 local time, Billboard revealed that “Layover” was now spending its third consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 46.
“Layover” also continued to rank high on the Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart this week, sweeping the No. 3 spot on both charts.
Meanwhile, V’s title track “Slow Dancing” stayed strong at No. 11 in its third week on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, followed by his pre-release singles “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days” at No. 60 and No. 116 respectively (both in their seventh week).
Over on the Global 200, “Slow Dancing” ranked No. 29, while “Love Me Again” came in at No. 111.
Finally, V took No. 27 on Billboard’s Artist 100 this week, marking his fifth non-consecutive week on the chart as a solo artist.
Congratulations to V!
