BTS's Jungkook Becomes 1st Korean Soloist To Land 2 Songs In Top 5 Of UK's Official Singles Chart As '3D' Debuts

Once again, BTS’s Jungkook has made K-pop history in the United Kingdom!

On October 6 local time, the Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that Jungkook’s new single “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow) had debuted at No. 5 on its Official Singles Chart.

Jungkook is now the first Korean solo artist in history—and only the second artist overall, following his own group BTS—to debut two different songs in the top five of the Official Singles Chart.

Before “3D,” Jungkook’s official solo debut single “Seven” (featuring Latto) entered the chart at No. 3 in July, setting a new record for the highest debut of any song by a Korean soloist.

“3D” also topped three different Official charts this week: the song debuted at No. 1 on the Official Singles Sales Chart, the Official Singles Downloads Chart, and the Official Physical Singles Chart, in addition to entering the Official Streaming Chart at No. 19.

Both “3D” and “Seven” will be included on Jungkook’s upcoming first solo album “GOLDEN,” which is due out on November 3. (Check out his latest teasers for the album here.)

Congratulations to Jungkook on his historic achievement!
