Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2023, October Week 1
NewJeans’ “Super Shy” is the No. 1 song again this week, making it its 11th week on top of our chart. Congratulations to NewJeans!
Moving back up two spots to No. 2 is Jungkook’s “Seven.” Down one spot to No. 3 is AKMU’s “Love Lee.”
Two songs newly entered the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 4 is IVE’s “Either Way,” one of the pre-released title tracks from their upcoming mini album “I’VE MINE.” With dreamy synth sounds and lyrics by Sunwoo Jung A, “Either Way” depicts how we cannot be free from other people’s gazes.
Moving up three spots to No. 9 is D.O.’s “Somebody,” the title track from his second solo mini album “Expectation.” “Somebody” is a folk pop song that highlights D.O.’s sincere vocals, and the lyrics tell the story of anticipating the meeting of “somebody” who will accept “me” as I am.
