NewJeans, Stray Kids, FIFTY FIFTY, BTS, ENHYPEN, NCT DREAM, And More Rank High On Billboard's World Albums Chart
Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 7!
NewJeans’ “Get Up” topped the chart for the ninth non-consecutive week, making it the first K-pop girl group album in history to spend nine weeks at No. 1. “Get Up” also continued to make history on the Billboard 200, where it became the first K-pop girl group album ever to spend 10 weeks in the top 60.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids’ latest album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” stayed strong at No. 4 in its 17th consecutive week on the World Albums chart.
FIFTY FIFTY’s new EP “The Beginning,” which was released in the United States via Warner Records and includes their smash hit “Cupid,” debuted at No. 5 on this week’s chart.
BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” climbed back up to No. 6 in its 68th week on the World Albums chart, while ENHYPEN’s “DARK BLOOD” came in at No. 7 in its 18th week.
NCT DREAM’s latest album “ISTJ” held relatively steady at No. 8 in its sixth consecutive week on the chart, followed by BTS’s J-Hope’s solo album “Jack In The Box” at No. 9 (in its 12th non-consecutive week) and TWICE’s Jihyo’s solo mini album “ZONE” at No. 10 (in its sixth consecutive week).
BTS’s Jimin’s solo debut album “FACE” rose to No. 11 in its 27th week on the chart, trailed by LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN” at No. 12 (in its 22nd week) and NewJeans’ “New Jeans” (in its 40th week).
Finally, BOYNEXTDOOR’s latest mini album “WHY..” rounded out the top 15 in its third consecutive week on the chart.
