Watch: Pyo Ye Jin And Kim Young Dae Experience Ardent Love And Bitter Betrayal In "Moon In The Day" Teaser
ENA’s “Moon in the Day” has unveiled new stills ahead of the premiere!
Based on a hit webtoon, “Moon in the Day” tells a chilling and heartbreaking love story that spans 1,500 years. Moving back and forth between the past and present, the drama will follow a man for whom time has stopped after being killed by his lover and a woman who has lost her memories of her past life and continues to “flow like a river.”
Kim Young Dae takes on the dual roles of Han Jun Oh, a well-known top star in Korea, and Do Ha, an elite noble of the Silla Dynasty. Pyo Ye Jin plays the dual roles of Kang Young Hwa, a firefighter-turned-bodyguard, and Han Ri Ta, the sole survivor of a noble family from Daegaya (a city-state) in the Silla Dynasty.
The newly released stills depict Do Ha and Han Ni Ta from 1,500 years ago. In the darkness of the night, a burning bonfire lights up the two. An awkward air flows between Do Ha, who is sitting calmly, and Han Ni Ta, who is standing with a blank look from a distance. The distance between the two can still be felt as Do Ha gazes at Han Ni Ta.
However, the next still shows a change in their relationship with Han Ni Ta stroking Do Ha’s cheeks as he gazes at her. Finally, the last photo depicts Do Ha sleeping on Han Ni Ta’s lap as Han Ri Ta looks at him affectionately. Viewers are curious to find out more about how they developed into lovers.
Furthermore, the second teaser portrays Han Ni Ta and Do Ha as lovers who experience betrayal. Han Ni Ta slits the throat of Do Ha who looks completely shocked as the text, “My lover who killed me,” appears next to him. Do Ha vows revenge by promising to kill Han Ri Ta first this time around.
