Park Bo Young, Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yoon, And Lee Jung Eun Talk About Their Characters In "Daily Dose Of Sunshine"

Upcoming Netflix drama “Daily Dose of Sunshine” has shared stills of Park Bo Young, Yeon Woo Jin, Jang Dong Yoon, and Lee Jung Eun.

Based on the webtoon titled “Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too” and the real-life experiences of a psychiatric nurse, “Daily Dose of Sunshine” tells the story of nurse Da Eun (Park Bo Young) as she meets people with wounded hearts at the psychiatric ward.

The released stills shows the characters who will create a colorful story inside and outside the psychiatric ward of Myung Shin University Hospital.

Park Bo Young will play the role of Jung Da Eun who transfers from internal medicine to the psychiatric ward at Myung Shin University Hospital in her third year. Park Bo Young commented, “There were times when I had to inject fluids and other times when I had to give intravenous injections, so I practiced a lot at home to familiarize myself with the procedures.”

On why she decided to join the cast of the drama, the actress shared, “I thought I could definitely give someone comfort and empathy.”

Yeon Woo Jin will play Dong Go Yun, a proctologist at Myung Shin University Hospital. Yeon Woo Jin described his character Go Yun as “a quirky character who is unique in the sense that when he gets interested in something, he focuses only on that one thing.”

Jang Dong Yoon will play the role of Song Yu Chan, Da Eun’s best friend since elementary school and Go Yun’s junior from college. He resigned from his job at a big company and now helps his parents with their chicken restaurant.

Lee Jung Eun will star as Song Hyo Shin, the head nurse in the Mental Health Department at Myung Shin University Hospital. She’s a seasoned veteran who understands patients and their caregivers and can handle any situation. She provides moral support to her fellow nurses and guides Da Eun, who is new in the psychiatric ward. Lee Jung Eun consulted with someone currently working as head nurse in a hospital for her role in “Daily Dose of Sunshine.”
