LE SSERAFIM's Agency Shares Update On Kim Chaewon's Health

LE SSERAFIM’s Kim Chaewon is continuing to focus on the recovery of her health.

Previously, LE SSERAFIM canceled their “FLAME RISES” concerts in Bangkok, which were scheduled to take place on October 7 and 8, after three members including Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, and Kazuha were diagnosed with Type A influenza.

On October 16, LE SSERAFIM’s agency SOURCE MUSIC released the following official statement regarding the status of Kim Chaewon’s health via Weverse.

We would like to provide you with an update regarding the current health status of LE SSERAFIM member Kim Chaewon and her upcoming scheduled activities.

Kim Chaewon has been in the process of recovering from Type A Influenza. However, persistent dizziness prompted her to make an additional hospital visit on Friday, October 13, during which she received medical advice to take a period of rest.

As a result, we have determined that her priority should be on her recovery. Consequently, Kim Chaewon will not be participating in all activities temporarily, including the pre-recording of “NPOP” that was scheduled for today.

As a result, only four members of LE SSERAFIM will be active for the time being. We will provide further updates regarding the resumption of Kim Chaewon’s activities.
We will continue to place the highest priority on the health and safety of our artist and strive to ensure that Kim Chaewon can meet her fans in full health.
