Moon Chae Won's Agency Shares Progress On Legal Action For Malicious Rumors
Moon Chae Won’s agency has filed additional complaints against malicious rumors.
On October 16, Moon Chae Won’s agency IOK Company released an official statement sharing, “Last September, in order to prevent additional damage to the actress, we gathered all relevant posts and comments against the perpetrators who continue [to spread malicious rumors] and are filing additional charges against 12 people including an unknown person.”
They further stated, “In these additional complaints, we are specifically suing a malicious YouTube channel that generated profits and rumors about Moon Chae Won and a YouTuber, who posted YouTube Shorts that are cunningly pieced together, to show our strong will to find the perpetrators’ identities until the end and bring them to justice. We clearly inform you that there will be no settlement or leniency in this process.”
Previously in March, IOK Company filed a complaint against malicious rumors for the first time, stating, “We are aware that this causes serious damage to her image, honor, and character, and that fans are suffering extreme damage as well. To prevent something like this from happening again, we will take strict measures moving forward against those who spread false facts, writers and publishers of malicious rumors, and malicious commenters, without any settling or leniency.”
