ATEEZ's Seonghwa To Temporarily Sit Out Activities After His Grandmother Passes Away
ATEEZ’s Seonghwa’s grandmother has passed away.
On October 25 KST, KQ Entertainment announced that Seonghwa would be sitting out some of the group’s upcoming activities in the United States due to the passing of his grandmother.
However, Seonghwa will still be performing at the “Immortal Songs in New York” concert as scheduled on October 26.
KQ Entertainment’s full statement is as follows:
Hello. This is KQ Entertainment.
We are conveying the unfortunate news that ATEEZ member Seonghwa’s grandmother passed away on October 23.
We offer our blessings to the departed, and we ask that you send Seonghwa your warm comfort and support.Accordingly, we are informing you that Seonghwa will inevitably be unable to participate in [the group’s] scheduled activities in the United States.
Seonghwa plans to resume his scheduled activities after sending off the departed, and he will be participating [in the group’s activities] starting from “Immortal Songs in New York” on October 26.
We ask for the understanding of the fans who must have waited for [ATEEZ’s] live broadcast celebrating the anniversary of their debut, and we send our deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
