"The Kidnapping Day" Ends On All-Time Ratings High
ENA’s “The Kidnapping Day” has wrapped up strong!
According to Nielsen Korea, the October 25 finale of “The Kidnapping Day” garnered an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.2 percent, taking first place in its time slot across all cable channels and setting a new all-time high for six consecutive episodes since episode 7. Furthermore, “The Kidnapping Day” also achieved the greatest household average viewership ratings among dramas that broadcast via ENA in 2023.
Starring Yoon Kye Sang and Yoo Na, “The Kidnapping Day” is a black comedy about a special alliance between a blundering kidnapper and a genius 11-year-old girl.
MBC’s Wednesday drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” did not broadcast as normally scheduled due to coverage of a semi-playoff game for the 2023 KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) postseason. The next episode of “A Good Day to Be a Dog” will instead air on November 1 at 9 p.m. KST.
Congratulations to the cast and crew of “The Kidnapping Day”!
