NewJeans Sets Record On Billboard 200 As "Get Up" Spends 13th Week In Top 100
NewJeans continues to make history on the Billboard charts with their latest album!
Back in August, NewJeans became the fastest female K-pop artist ever to debut on the Billboard 200 when their second mini album “Get Up” entered the chart at No. 1—and three months later, the EP is still going strong in the top 100. For the week ending on October 28, “Get Up” successfully remained on the Billboard 200 at No. 84, marking its 13th consecutive week on the chart.
With this achievement, “Get Up” has become the first K-pop girl group album ever to spend 13 weeks in the top 100 of the Billboard 200.
“Get Up” also held steady at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart this week, in addition to ranking No. 17 on the Top Current Album Sales chart and No. 20 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Meanwhile, NewJeans stayed strong at No. 70 on Billboard’s Artist 100 in their 17th overall week on the chart.
Over on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, NewJeans’ “Super Shy” ranked No. 44 this week, followed by “ETA” at No. 89, “GODS” at No. 116, “OMG” at No. 164, and “Ditto” at No. 166. On the Global 200, “Super Shy” came in at No. 70, “ETA” at No. 146, and “GODS” at No. 173.
Congratulations to NewJeans on their impressive achievement!
