38th Golden Disc Awards Announces Ceremony Date And Location

The next Golden Disc Awards (GDA) will be taking place in Indonesia!

On October 31, it was announced that the 38th Golden Disc Awards will be held at the Jakarta International Stadium in Indonesia on January 6, 2024.

The Golden Disc Awards committee shared, “The influence of K-pop is gradually expanding in the global music market, and requests from Asian fans who want to meet K-pop artists are continuing. In keeping with this trend, we decided to host the event in Jakarta to create opportunities for more diverse domestic and foreign music fans to be able to communicate through K-pop.”

Jakarta International Stadium can accommodate approximately 80,000 people. It is also the venue for the U-17 World Cup which will be held from November 10.

This will mark the fifth time the Golden Disc Awards will be held abroad following the 26th GDA in Japan, the 27th GDA in Malaysia, the 29th GDA in China, and the 37th GDA in Thailand. Nominees for each category of the 38th GDA will be announced on the official website and social media accounts on December 4.
