BTS's Jungkook Ties PSY's Record On Billboard Hot 100 As 'Too Much' Debuts

BTS’s Jungkook is now tied with PSY as the Korean soloist with the most entries on Billboard’s Hot 100!

For the week ending on November 4, “Too Much”—Jungkook’s new collab single with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee—debuted at No. 44 on the Hot 100, which ranks the most popular songs in the United States.

“Too Much” is Jungkook’s fifth entry on the Hot 100 as solo artist, meaning that he has now tied PSY’s record for the most Hot 100 entries of any Korean soloist. Jungkook previously entered the chart with his “7 Fates: CHAKHO” OST track “Stay Alive” (produced by Suga), his Charlie Puth collab “Left and Right,” his official solo debut single “Seven” (featuring Latto), and “3D” (featuring Jack Harlow).

Meanwhile, “3D”—which debuted at No. 5 earlier this month—climbed back up to No. 75 in its fourth consecutive week on the chart.

“Too Much” also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart and No. 25 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States. Additionally, “3D” rose to a new peak of No. 24 in its fourth consecutive week on the Pop Airplay chart.

Finally, Jungkook re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 71 this week, making him the first Korean soloist ever to spend 11 weeks on the chart.

Congratulations to Jungkook! (Check out his latest teasers for his upcoming solo album “GOLDEN” here.)
