Stray Kids Becomes First 4th Generation K-Pop Boy Group To Enter Hot 100 With "LALALALA" Debut

Stray Kids has made history with their Billboard Hot 100 debut!

On November 20 (local time), Billboard announced that Stray Kids officially made their debut on the Hot 100—Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States—with their latest title track “LALALALA” coming in at No. 90.

This marks Stray Kids’ first-ever entry on the Hot 100 chart. This is also makes them the second Korean boy group to enter the Hot 100 following BTS.

Furthermore, “LALALALA” entered Billboard’s Global 200 chart at No. 10 and placed No. 6 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart for the charts dated November 25.

Previously, Billboard announced that Stray Kids’ new mini album “ROCK-STAR” debuted at No. 1 on its Top 200 Albums chart, making it their fourth consecutive album to top the chart following “ODDINARY,” “MAXIDENT,” and “★★★★★ (5-STAR).”

Notably, Stray Kids is the first artist in 16 years to have all four of their first chart entries debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and the first K-pop artist to achieve the feat. Additionally, it took Stray Kids less than 20 months to rack up four No. 1 albums, making them the fastest artist to accumulate four No. 1s since Taylor Swift (who took just under 16 months to achieve the feat between August 2020 and November 2021).

Recently, Stray Kids performed “S-Class” and “LALALALA” at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards and won the Top K-Pop Album award with “5-STAR.”

Stray Kids returned with their newest mini album “樂-STAR” (“ROCK-STAR”) along with the title track “LALALALA” earlier on November 10.
