Watch: Shin Hye Sun Is Hesitant To Go Back To Her Hometown Because Of Ji Chang Wook In "Welcome To Samdalri" Teaser
JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri” has unveiled a new teaser ahead of tonight’s premiere!
Helmed by “When the Camellia Blooms” director Cha Young Hoon, “Welcome to Samdalri” stars Ji Chang Wook as Jo Yong Pil, a man who has faithfully stayed in his hometown on Jeju Island all his life in order to protect its residents. Shin Hye Sun plays Jo Sam Dal, who grew up together with Jo Yong Pil as his close childhood friend. Unlike Jo Yong Pil, who was content to remain in his hometown Samdal, Jo Sam Dal made it her mission to get out of their small town and move to Seoul.
The newly released teaser video features the story of Jo Sam Dal, who was extraordinary since she was young. After moving to Seoul for her dream, Sam Dal experiences a difficult time, but she builds up her career and eventually becomes a famous photographer whom even top stars want to work with. The reason she is able to endure the tough life in Seoul is because she never wants to return to her hometown Jeju where her ex-boyfriend and longtime friend Jo Yong Pil lives.
However, Jo Sam Dal unexpectedly gets caught up in a serious incident, which even gets covered on the news, and has no choice but to take a flight to Jeju. There, Jo Sam Dal and Jo Yong Pil reunite in Samdalri where they share long history together.
