Watch: Honey Lee Is A Widow Determined To Protect Her Secret In Teaser For New Historical Drama

MBC’s upcoming drama “Knight Flower” (also known as “Flower That Blooms at Night”) has shared a teaser!

Set in the Joseon era, “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help and take care of those in need.

At the beginning of the teaser, Jo Yeo Hwa is seen standing at the edge of a cliff in mourning attire. In the next scene, she sits in a corner of a shrine with a sad expression on her face.

A child says in voice-over, “Widows are not allowed to go outside the fence,” and a woman’s voice is heard remarking, “What can a widow who can’t even cross the fence do?”

However, after looking forlornly beyond the wall, Jo Yeo Hwa suddenly transforms into a masked swordswoman upon crossing the fence. An exciting action scene then unfolds as she confronts numerous enemies in a fight. The teaser ends with Jo Yeo Hwa saying, “I haven’t been caught by anyone for years. It will continue that way.”
