Girls' Generation's Yuri, Kwak Sun Young, And More Confirmed To Star In New Mystery Thriller Film
The new mystery thriller film “Mist” (working title) has kicked off filming!
On December 12, the production team of “Mist” announced the cast lineup including Kwak Sun Young, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Lee Seol, Ki So You, and more.
“Mist” is a mystery thriller film that depicts people’s emotions that arise when cracks appear in their ordinary lives and their desperate struggles to resolve the situation.
Kwak Sun Young will take on the role of Lee Young Eun, who works as a swimming instructor and raises her daughter Kim So Hyun (Ki So You) on her own. She feels that her daughter So Hyun is different from the other children and tries to hide her daughter’s secret in order to maintain her normal life.
Yuri will play the role of Kim Min, who works at a special cleaning company in charge of handling scenes of lonely deaths. Unlike her bright and cheerful appearance on the outside, she has an emotional flaw on the inside.
Lee Seol will portray Park Hae Young, a new employee at Kim Min’s company. Although Hae Young appears to be bubbly and friendly, she tends to cross the line and makes people uncomfortable.
Ki So You will take on the role of Young Eun’s daughter So Hyun, who is anxious that her mother will disappear. Although So Hyun is usually cool-headed, she can fake smiles to be loved by people according to her needs.
On top of this, actors including Gil Hae Yeon, Shin Dong Mi, Heo Jung Do, Heo Ji Won, Yeom Ji Young, Yoo Jung Hoo, and Kim Seung Hee joined the cast lineup.
