"Welcome To Samdalri" And "Maestra: Strings Of Truth" Ratings Hit New All-Time Highs
Two new dramas are on the rise!
On December 16, JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri” continued its upward climb, earning its highest viewership ratings yet for its fifth episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the romance drama scored an average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent, marking a new all-time high for the series.
tvN’s new drama “Maestra: Strings of Truth” also set a new personal record with its third episode, which took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 5.4 percent.
SBS’s “My Demon” also returned to its all-time high of 4.7 percent as it wrapped up the first half of its run.
MBC’s “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract,” which airs in the same time slot as “My Demon,” stayed strong with an average nationwide rating of 8.0 percent.
Meanwhile, KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” achieved its highest viewership ratings to date for a Saturday, when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays. The latest episode of the popular historical drama earned a nationwide average of 9.7 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 16.7 percent.
