Honey Lee Unsheathes Her Sword Fearlessly To Protect The People In New "Knight Flower" Poster
MBC’s upcoming drama “Knight Flower” has unveiled a new poster of Honey Lee!
Set in the Joseon era, “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need.
Jo Yeo Hwa lives as the daughter-in-law of a prominent noble family during the day. When her groom unexpectedly passed away on their wedding day, Jo Yeo Hwa suddenly became a young widow before they could even consummate their marriage. However, at night, she maintains her secret identity as a masked widow who has secretly helped those in need for 15 years.
In the newly released poster, Jo Yeo Hwa exudes both grace and strength as she pulls out her sword with a confident smile. While she presents herself as a modest widow during the day, Jo Yeo Hwa fearlessly stands up for the cause of the common people at night. Fueled by a burning sense of justice and unwavering determination, Jo Yeo Hwa is resolute in her mission to alleviate the hardships faced by the common people.
The production team commented, “The new poster depicts the protagonist Yeo Hwa as she is clad in white mourning attire while drawing a sword with a playful smile. It encapsulates the tenacious widow Yeo Hwa, who stands firm and upholds her beliefs against harsh realities, all while maintaining a sense of humor in the midst of it all.” They added, “This poster needed to capture the various expressions of Honey Lee, who effortlessly embodies countless emotions during filming, resulting in a swift and successful shoot.”
“Knight Flower” will premiere on January 12, 2024 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
