BOYNEXTDOOR's Agency Apologizes For Airport Incident
BOYNEXTDOOR’s agency has formally apologized following the controversy over a recent incident at the airport.
Over the past few days, a video of one of BOYNEXTDOOR’s bodyguards pushing a fan at the airport went viral and drew negative attention online, with many criticizing the fact that the bodyguard pushed the fan so hard she fell over.
On December 19, KOZ Entertainment responded with the following apology:
Hello.
This is KOZ Entertainment.We apologize to the fans for the problem caused by the inappropriate actions of a bodyguard who was performing security duties for BOYNEXTDOOR on December 16 at the Qingdao airport.
We apologized separately to the person who was directly harmed [in the incident], and for the sake of aftercare, we are currently asking them about their mental and physical health, as well as whether there was any damage to their belongings. We have taken measures to ensure that the security personnel in question is not assigned to our artist on-site in the future.
We will do everything we can to strengthen guidance and education of our security personnel so that this problem does not reoccur in the future.
Once again, we apologize to the fans.
