"Noryang: Deadly Sea" Surpasses 1 Million Moviegoers After Topping Box Office For 4 Days In A Row
The star-studded new film “Noryang: Deadly Sea” is off to a strong start at the box office!
“Noryang: Deadly Sea” is the third and final installment in director Kim Han Min’s trilogy about battles led by the legendary general Lee Soon Shin, following the hit films “The Admiral: Roaring Currents” and “Hansan: Rising Dragon.”
Ever since its release on December 20, the historical action film has enjoyed an uninterrupted four-day streak at No. 1 at the Korean box office.
On December 24, the Korean Film Council announced that as of the day before (December 23), “Noryang: Deadly Sea” had officially reached a total of 1,069,510 moviegoers—meaning that it took just four days to hit the 1 million mark.
