"Welcome To Samdalri" Kicks Off 2nd Half On Highest Saturday Ratings Yet As "My Happy Ending" Premieres
JTBC’s “Welcome to Samdalri” has entered the second half of its run!
On December 30, the romance drama achieved its highest viewership ratings to date for a Saturday, when its ratings have typically been lower compared to Sundays. According to Nielsen Korea, “Welcome to Samdalri” rose to an average nationwide rating of 8.1 percent for its latest episode.
tvN’s “Maestra: Strings of Truth” also kicked off the second half of its own run last night, scoring an average nationwide rating of 5.3 percent for its seventh episode.
Meanwhile, TV Chosun’s new drama “My Happy Ending” premiered to a promising start, earning an average nationwide rating of 2.6 percent for its first episode.
KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War,” which airs in an overlapping time slot with both “My Happy Ending” and “Maestra: Strings of Truth,” rose to an average nationwide rating of 9.4 percent for the night.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Live Your Own Life” successfully remained the most-watched program of any kind to air on Saturday, climbing to an average nationwide rating of 17.6 percent despite overlapping with more than one year-end award ceremony.
