Uhm Hyun Kyung, Seo Jun Young, And More Reportedly In Talks For New Drama
Uhm Hyun Kyung and Seo Jun Young may be uniting for a new drama!
On January 26, Xportsnews reported that Uhm Hyun Kyung and Seo Jun Young will be starring in the new MBC drama “The Brave Yong Su Jeong.”
In response to the report, Uhm Hyun Kyung’s agency Yeojin Entertainment shared, “She received an offer [to star in ‘The Brave Yong Su Jeong’] and is positively reviewing it.”
Seo Jun Young’s agency has yet to respond to the report.
“The Brave Yong Su Jeong” is a new romance revenge drama that tells the story of Yong Su Jeong, a woman who dreams of becoming a magnate, and Yeo Eui Joo, a terminally ill patient who considers her as his future sister-in-law.
Uhm Hyun Kyung was offered to play the role of Yong Su Jeong, who tries to live the words of Im Sang Ok, a great merchant of the Joseon Dynasty who said that business is about winning people’s hearts rather than making profits. If Uhm Hyun Kyung accepts her casting offer, “The Brave Yong Su Jeong” will mark the actress’s first project after giving birth to her first child.
Seo Jun Young is reportedly in talks to play the male lead Yeo Eui Joo, who struggles to protect his intellectually disabled mother and the woman he loves after discovering that he is related to a chaebol family.
According to the report, Lee Seung Yeon, Ji Soo Won, and Park Chul Min also received casting offers.
