Jung Eun Chae Confirmed To Join Kim Tae Ri, Shin Ye Eun, And More In New Drama
Jung Eun Chae will be starring in the new tvN drama “Jeong Nyeon” (romanized title)!
On January 29, Jung Eun Chae’s agency Project Hosoo shared, “Jung Eun Chae will star as Moon Ok Kyung in tvN’s new drama ‘Jeong Nyeon.’ We ask for lots of interest and support for Jung Eun Chae, who will once again demonstrate an excellent portrayal of her character.”
Based off a webtoon, “Jeong Nyeon” is set in the 1950s and tells the story of Yoon Jeong Nyeon (Kim Tae Ri), a young girl from Mokpo who has no money or education but is born with a talented singing voice. The historical drama follows the happenings that occur when Yoon Jeong Nyeon joins a women’s traditional theater company to achieve her dreams of becoming rich. The drama also stars Kim Tae Ri, Shin Ye Eun, Ra Mi Ran, and Moon So Ri.
Jung Eun Chae’s character Moon Ok Kyung is a member of the women’s traditional theater company. Ok Kyung always maintains an inscrutable poker face, but she is the best star who can also play male lead roles in the theater company.
Jung Eun Chae showcased a wide acting spectrum through various projects including “Someone You Loved” and “The Table.” The actress recently received lots of favorable reviews through her excellent portrayal of Hyun Joo in “Anna.”
