BLACKPINK's Jennie Dishes On "Apartment 404" Teamwork, Reuniting With Yoo Jae Suk, And More

BLACKPINK’s Jennie is gearing up to make her variety show return with “Apartment 404”!

Led by director Jung Chul Min of the hit tvN variety show “Sixth Sense,” “Apartment 404” is a reality variety program set in an apartment in which a total of six residents trace the truth behind extraordinary events that occur in their residences. In addition to Jennie, the program also stars Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Jung Ha, Cha Tae Hyun, Oh Na Ra, and Yang Se Chan.

Upcoming tvN variety show “Apartment 404” will mark Jennie’s first fixed variety show since “Village Survival, the Eight.” Regarding the upcoming program, Jennie remarked, “I normally liked investigative stories, and I decided to star [on the show] after hearing that cast and staff members I like will be working together. Since this is my first variety show in a while, I think this will be a nice gift to fans.”

Jennie also dished on her reunion with Yoo Jae Suk after starring on “Village Survival, the Eight” together. She shared, “I missed those days because I remember filming really enjoyably then. I was really nervous, but he took such good care of me that I was able to film enjoyably.”

She continued, “On the first day of filming, all the other members also took really good care of me in a comfortable way, and since we were working on solving a case together, we formed team spirit so that we could grow closer faster.”

Jennie shared, “I like the investigative genre, but since ‘Apartment 404’ is based on real stories, I felt like I really became a part of that case. I forgot we were filming, and I became immersed in the moment. I hope viewers will be immersed like we were.”
