SOPA Clarifies Rumors About Kim Garam Posing For Press Photos At Graduation

The School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) has clarified reports about former LE SSERAFIM member Kim Garam’s participation at its graduation photo wall.

As SOPA is a high school attended by many celebrities, it typically sets up a photo wall at its graduation ceremony each year where graduating stars pose for press photos. Kim Garam is one of the students graduating this year, and ahead of the ceremony, rumors began circulating that the former idol would be making her first press appearance since leaving LE SSERAFIM at her graduation.

On February 6, a spokesperson for the school officially shut down the rumors that Kim Garam would be posing for press photos at her graduation the following day.

“We are planning to prepare an area for reporters at the graduation ceremony in the style of a photo wall,” they stated, “but Kim Garam is not on the list of students [that will be posing for the press at the wall].”

After debuting as a member of LE SSERAFIM in 2022, Kim Garam left the group and HYBE just two months after her debut, and she is not currently signed to an entertainment agency.

Meanwhile, SOPA’s 2024 graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 7 at 11 a.m. KST.
