"Captivating The King" Ratings Soar To New All-Time High
After airing four episodes in one weekend, tvN’s “Captivating the King” soared to its highest viewership ratings yet!
On February 11, the romance drama starring Jo Jung Suk and Shin Se Kyung aired two episode back to back. While the series typically only airs new episodes on Saturdays and Sundays, it changed up its broadcast schedule for the Lunar New Year holiday: this weekend, it aired one episode on Friday, one episode on Saturday, and two episodes on Sunday.
According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “Captivating the King” scored an average nationwide rating of 6.7 percent, marking a new personal record for the drama.
Meanwhile, JTBC’s “Doctor Slump” rose slightly to an average nationwide rating of 3.9 percent for its sixth episode.
Finally, “Live Your Own Life” continued its perfect streak as the most-watched program of Sunday, rising to a nationwide average of 18.3 percent for the night. (Both KBS 2TV’s “Korea-Khitan War” and TV Chosun’s “My Happy Ending” took the night off due to the Lunar New Year holiday.)
Congratulations to the cast and crew of “Captivating the King”!
