"Knight Flower" Extends Final Episode, Alters Broadcast Time
The final episode of MBC’s hit series “Knight Flower” will run a tad longer!
On February 14, MBC announced that the final episode of its current Friday-Saturday drama “Knight Flower” will be extended by five minutes, prompting a slight adjustment in its broadcast schedule.
Since its premiere in January, “Knight Flower” has consistently dominated the Friday-Saturday drama slot, even achieving an impressive peak average nationwide rating of 13.1 percent based on Nielsen Korea.
Set in the Joseon era, MBC’s “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need. Lee Jong Won stars as Park Soo Ho, a military officer who inadvertently becomes entangled with Jo Yeo Hwa.
The production team of “Knight Flower” shared, “After careful consideration, we’ve concluded that the intricate conflicts and numerous storylines of the drama cannot be fully realized within the original runtime. Therefore, we have extended the duration [of the final broadcast]. We are making efforts to showcase as much as possible by advancing the broadcast by five minutes. Please continue to anticipate until the end.”
Episode 11 of “Knight Flower” will air on February 16 at 9:50 p.m. KST, while the extended finale, Episode 12, will run for 85 minutes on February 17 at 9:45 p.m. KST, starting five minutes earlier than usual.
