Watch: “Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground” Unveils All 100 Contestants

Netflix has revealed the 100 contestants of “Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground”!

“Physical: 100” is a survival show where 100 contestants in top physical shape compete in various challenges until only one remains to win the prize money and claim the honor of having the ultimate physique.

“Physical: 100″ became the first Korean show in history to reach the top spot in Netflix’s Top 10 Shows (Non-English). The show earned a place in the top 10 lists in 82 different countries and accumulated a total viewing time of 192.63 million hours in six weeks.

Commenting on the participants for the second season of the show, producing director (PD) Jang Ho Gi remarked, “Many current and former national team athletes who found Season 1 intriguing are participating in Season 2,” adding, “Some even commented that it felt like they were actually competing in international sports matches or that they felt much more tension compared to actual international sports competitions. As a result, the tension was much more intense, and the contestants began competing with other from the moment they first met.

Writer Kang Sook Kyung commented, “Among the participants, there are those who exercise for 10 hours a day to push their physical strength to the limit, individuals whose lifestyles include climbing tall trees or carrying loads up the mountain multiple times a day, and participants who build their bodies to cosplay their favorite characters.”

She added, “All 100 contestants have unique stories and confidence in their bodies, making it difficult to categorize them.”
