Watch: Son Suk Ku Gets Trapped By "Troll Factory" Run By Kim Sung Cheol, Kim Dong Hwi, And Hong Kyung In New Thriller Film
Upcoming film “Troll Factory” has dropped a new poster and trailer ahead of its release!
Based on a novel, “Troll Factory” follows the journey of journalist Im Sang Jin (Son Suk Ku) who faces suspension after exposing the abuse of a major corporation. When an anonymous informant reveals the existence of an online “troll factory” that manipulates public opinion, he embarks on a quest to unveil the truth and reclaim his position.
The newly released poster features the three members of the troll factory called Team Allep—played by Kim Sung Cheol, Kim Dong Hwi, and Hong Kyung—with their unique nicknames written on their faces, raising questions about their identities.
The sight of Im Sang Jin sitting haggardly with a confused facial expression creates the feeling that he is being cornered by Team Allep. The text that reads, “How much can you trust what you read on the Internet?” hints at the unpredictable development of the story that will unfold.
The main trailer begins with a woman’s voice saying, “This mess started because of that one tabloid-like article,” followed by the sight of journalist Im Sang Jin being interrogated. He gets attacked both online and offline as more people accuse him, “Your article killed a person with a false report.” However, the atmosphere reverses as one of the mysterious Team Allep members tells him, “Your article was not misreported. It’s all a method that we created,” causing confusion as to how much of the situation is true and how much of it is false.
