Netflix’s newest comedy drama “Chicken Nugget” has unveiled a star-studded lineup set to make special appearances in the series!
Helmed by “Extreme Job” and “Melo Is My Nature” director Lee Byung Heon, “Chicken Nugget” is a comedic mystery series about Choi Sun Man (Ryu Seung Ryong) as he teams up with Ko Baek Joong to bring back his daughter Min Ah (Kim Yoo Jung), who has turned into a chicken nugget after a mishap with a mysterious machine. Ahn Jae Hong stars as Ko Baek Joong, an intern who has a crush on Min Ah.
On March 14th, Netflix teased the appearance of a cameo squad joining the series. “Squid Game” star Jung Ho Yeon will take on the role of Hong Cha, Korea’s best food columnist and Ko Baek Joong’s ex-girlfriend.
GOT7’s Jinyoung will portray Yoo Tae Young, the handsome older brother of Yoo Tae Man, while Jung Seung Gil—who also starred in “Melo Is My Nature” together with Ahn Jae Hong—will play Yoo Tae Man, someone who appears significantly older than he actually is.
Go Chang Suk will join as Ko Baek Joong’s stubborn father and the very person responsible for Ko Baek Joong’s beloved yellow pants. Moon Sang Hoon will feature as Jung Hyo Bong, whose connection to the mysterious machine adds intrigue to the story.
Moreover, Yoo Seung Mok will grace the screen as the eccentric scientist Yoo In Won, who is obsessed with the mysterious machine, while Kim Tae Hoon, Hwang Mi Young, Jung Soon Won, and Lee Haney (1982) will star as the “Chicken Nugget Quartet” who will play crucial roles for an important scene in the series.
Kim Nam Hee will portray the unpredictable employee of the company manufacturing the machine. Finally, Yang Hyun Min, Heo Joon Suk, Park Hyung Soo, and Lee Joo Bin, who were all previously featured in director Lee Byung Heon’s works, will also make special appearances to lend their support.
