BTS's V Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World, Including U.S., With "FRI(END)S"

BTS’s V is sweeping iTunes charts across the globe with his new single!

On March 15 at 1 p.m. KST, V—who is currently serving in the military—released the solo digital single “FRI(END)S.” Immediately upon its release, the song shot to the top of iTunes charts all over the world.

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, by 7 a.m. KST on March 16, “FRI(END)S” had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 87 different regions.

Shortly afterwards, the single reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in the United States as well.

Meanwhile, the music video for “FRI(END)S” has been racking up views at impressive speed: as of 11:55 a.m. KST on March 16, the video had already soared past 7.2 million views on YouTube.
